Dear Parents,
Welcome to Third Grade! I am excited to have some familiar faces in my class. For those of you who are new, I am looking forward to getting to know each one of you and your precious children.
I graduated from Coker College in 1996 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2001 with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I have eighteen years of teaching experience and have been at SCPS for seventeen years.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Rick, for sixteen years and we have two beautiful boys. Anders is thirteen and Grady is ten. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, reading, and watching football.
I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. As a child, I would “teach” the other children in the neighborhood. I even had a chalkboard and made them complete work. I enjoy working with children and watching them grow and learn. I love teaching and look forward to each school year. I am so blessed to have the privilege to teach your children. I am looking forward to a great school year. We are going to have a wonderful time learning this year.
Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] with any questions.
In God’s Love,
Pamela Olson
