Rewards
Students will be rewarded on an individual and class basis.
Consequences
*In severe cases, such as fighting, bad language, destruction of property, and cheating, students will automatically receive a pink slip and be referred to the office.
- Respect other people and their property.
- Sit quietly and listen when others are speaking.
- Raise your hand during learning activities.
- Walk quietly in line.
- Use quiet voices in the classroom.
Rewards

- Green Dot in planner
- Stickers
- Positive Notes Home
- Extra Free Time
- Class Snack
- Homework Pass or NUT Card
Consequences
- A warning will be given the first time a rule is broken. I will review the rule with the student to ensure understanding of class expectations. The student will still receive a green dot for the day.
- Five minutes of time out will be given during recess, lunch or other fun activity the second time a rule is broken. I will review the rule with the student to ensure understanding of class expectations. The student will receive a yellow dot in his/her planner.
- Ten minutes of time out will be given during recess, lunch or other fun activity the third time a rule is broken. I will review the rule with the student to ensure understanding of class expectations. The student will receive a yellow dot in his/her planner.
- The parent will be contacted through a note, email or phone call the fourth time a rule is broken. Ten minutes of time out will be given during recess, lunch or other fun activity. The student will receive a red dot in his/her planner.
